how can

here is what was repaired on/done to my car today:
1)oil change
2)tire balance & rotation
3)lifetime alignment
4)powersteeringpumpo replaced (damn, was that car getting hard to steer!)
5)transmission fluid drained
6)leftrear turnsignal/taillight replaced
7)windshlied wipers replaced (they were literally shredded)
8)fuel injection system
...& some more stuff, i think, that i forget.

ithought imightnot getback thecar. didn't have the $400 to pay the nicemen who fixed it for me. but my mother had promised me i could put it on her chargecard and pay her back slowly. in front of my fiance, she promised this. then tried to go back on it today, after i had the work done. muetter!

excited, anxious, scared to go back to school on friday. and scheiss, it's cold here. three inches of powder snow. wind chill of -1. winter had arrived in ohio. figures.

we nailed a quilt over the backdoor to keep out drafts. don't use the door, anyway. it's very cold in the house. we got a small spaceheater to help keep the babies warm. the boymice got a newcage today, and seem thrilled to have room to run around. their oldcage was slightly rusted and missing pieces. no wheel, one level, water in a dish instead of a bottle, no hidey holes, no tubes. the newcage has two levels, tubing, a wheel, a water bottle, etc. i got them an igloo to hide in and a couple chew toys. i need to remeber to bring down the empty cardboard centers from label rolls at work for the babies to play with. anyway, all that's left is to take some of the extra tubing off the girls' cage and put it on the boys', just to make things more equal.

elf cosmetics, new underpants, and a bag of broccoli. what a day, what a day.
